About the Role

We’re looking for a kind and reliable Support Worker to support a participant in Hervey Bay.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, takes pride in building meaningful relationships, and understands the importance of providing support that is respectful, empowering, and centered around the individual.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing safe, caring, and person-centred support

• Helping with daily routines and activities

• Encouraging independence, confidence, and community involvement

• Offering emotional support and companionship

• Completing clear and simple shift notes

• Building a positive, trusting relationship with the participant and their support network

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in disability or community support

• A flexible and positive approach to work

• All required compliance, including:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Police Check

  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)

  • First Aid & CPR

• Reliable transport is preferred

• Someone who is dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently
